NEWSLETTER DISPLAY PROBLEMS
If you don't see a fresh
newsletter by 8:30 a.m., you're probably looking at a previous edition of NewsBlues
still
trapped in your browser's memory. This is a common problem with AOL,
which "caches" (memorizes) web pages to save on bandwidth.
Other commercial service
providers (and some private business servers) also "cache" popular web pages.
TO FIX?
(1) First, try clicking the REFRESH
or RELOAD button on your browser.
(2) If that doesn't help,
clear
your TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. Here's how.
If you're using a Microsoft
Internet Explorer browser, it's a little easier.
a. Click on the browser's
TOOLS button, then click INTERNET OPTIONS
b. In the Temporary Internet Files area, click on DELETE FILES.
c. Check Delete all offline content, then click on OK.
e. Click on OK to close the Internet Properties window.
If you're an AOL
user, it's a little harder....
a. Click START, select
SETTINGS, then click CONTROL PANEL
b. Double-click on INTERNET or INTERNET OPTIONS.
c. In the Temporary Internet Files area, click on DELETE FILES.
d. Check Delete all offline content, then click on OK.
e. Click on OK to close the Internet Properties window.
f. Click on the X to close the Control Panel window.
(You may need to do this
daily)

There's also a SECRET
SHORTCUT to the latest newsletter.
Newsletter files are labeled according to date...so....
For instance:
The URL page address for Tuesday, August 20, 2003 is
http://www.newsblues.com/Secure/Bluezette/2003/08-20-03.htm
The URL page address for
Wednesday, August 21, 2003 is
http://www.newsblues.com/Secure/Bluezette/2003/08-21-03.htm
The URL page address for
Thursday, August 22, 2003 is
http://www.newsblues.com/Secure/Bluezette/2003/08-22-03.htm
So, if your browser pulls up
an old version of the newsletter, all you have to do is change ONE
NUMBER to see the current page.
