It’s been nearly two weeks since KVII morning anchor and reporter Anthony Pittman was arrested on prostitution charges, and the Sinclair-owned Amarillo, TX station solemnly pledged transparency in its coverage of the story.

Not a word since, but we noticed that Pittman’s bio has been scrubbed from the station’s website – and not another word about his arrest has been reported.

Pittman had been with the station for well over six years at the time of his arrest, which, in its last reporting of the matter, KVII told us “Anthony has been charged with Class B solicitation of prostitution. It is considered a misdemeanor and with no aggravating circumstances, which do not appear to be a factor, the punishment if convicted is up to 180 days in jail and up to a $2000 fine.”

When can we expect an actual update – or has Pittman become a non-person to KVII?
