TV Sports Anchor Joining Milwaukee Station with ‘Strong Commitment to Sports’

By Paul Greeley

Jessie Garcia, the news director at WDJT, CBS 58, the Weigel Broadcasting station in Milwaukee, posted on social media that the station has a new sportscaster.
“Cameron Ezeir has made a name for himself in Northeast Wisconsin and will bring those talents to our shop. Cam has an energy about life as well as knowledge and passion for sports and storytelling. He knows Wisconsin sports well and will round out our trio.”
More from Cam:
Hey everyone! My name is Cameron Ezeir and I can’t wait to join the CBS 58 team. After covering a few sporting events in Milwaukee, I’m looking forward to doing it permanently now.
I always joke that I’m checking off different parts of the country as part of this career, so this jump will require a lot less travel. Originally from Southern California, I made the cross-country move to Syracuse University for college and then found myself in the Midwest at WFRV-TV in Green Bay for the last three years. I’ve covered the Green Bay Packers, and every level of Wisconsin sports imaginable, on a daily basis since then and can confidently say the ’25 NFL Draft will be a tough three days to top.
I love to cook, stay active (basketball, golf, tennis), and just find new things to do and places to wander. It also won’t take you long to learn how much I like to conversate about anything and everything. That part of sports and this industry as a whole is my favorite. Meeting new people that trust me to learn and express their “why” has always been my “why.” Can’t wait to meet everyone, learn every day, and ingrain myself in everything Milwaukee has to offer while proudly representing CBS 58!
“Welcome, Cam! We make a strong commitment to sports at our station because we know how important it is to our community,” Garcia wrote.
