In a story NewsBlues has been following, a “broken heart” isn’t enough to stop one newsroom couple!
According to PennLive.com, days after suffering a massive heart attack, CBS21 anchor Robb Hanrahan is showing signs of recovery.
Hanrahan has been in an intensive care unit at a local hospital since June 18. After undergoing two surgeries, he was placed on life support, according to his wife Stacey Hanrahan. On June 22, she tweeted that his breathing tube had been removed, along with a gif of a kid celebrating a sports victory.
Stacey is also Hanrahan’s colleague, working as the assistant news director and a meteorologist for CBS21.
Both past and present colleagues have been quick to share their support for Hanrahan, with former CBS21 reporter Bryant Maddrick tweeting “We’re all behind you and Robb and rooting hard for a full recovery. I’m speaking it into existence and it will happen!”
Hanrahan has been a staple of television news in the Harrisburg area, having started working at CBS21 in February 2010.
