LEAVING FOR ST. LOUIS FOR THE NETWORK?

FOX Weather needs new talent and it seems they’ll come from local markets.

At least that’s what some suspect is happening here.

KTVI meteorologist Brigit Mahoney will leave the St. Louis station June 11.

She said she can’t say what’s next but local papers and also our sources say it’s probably Fox News’ new weather platform, Fox Weather.

Here’s her goodbye on social:

June 11 will be my last day at FOX 2 🙁 I am so exited for a new adventure, but equally as bummed to leave St. Louis. A city is a city, but the people here have made all the difference. Thank you for being so welcoming and making STL feel like home, from my coworkers, friends, viewers, everyone!
