LOCAL METEOROLOGISTS MAKE IT TO TODAY

On Monday, Al Roker kicked of 2021 Rokerthon. He’s going to feature 50 local NBC meteorologists doing their Summer weather forecast.

He kicked off today with Rebecca Barry, meteorologist for WFLA-TV in Tampa, Fla. Meteorologists from New Orleans, Tampa, New York, Buffalo and Baltimore also made appearances today.

It’s fun to see local personalities on national news — especially on TODAY.
