TURNING UP ACROSS STREET IN ROCHESTER

Former WHAM meteorologist Glenn Johnson is working at another station in Rochester.

He’ll join WHEC, the NBC station in the market.

“Adding Glenn to the News10NBC family makes what is already the strongest weather team in town, even stronger,” says Dave Overacker, News Director at News10NBC. “In forecasting Rochester weather, experience means everything. With the addition of Glenn, our team will have more than 70 years of local experience. We are very excited that Glenn will continue to serve the community he has called home for almost 4 decades.”

Johnson has been in the market for 36 years. His job was eliminated at Rochester station due to workforce reductions.

He joins Stacey Pensgen, Rich Caniglia, and Alex Bielfeld on the First Alert Weather team.
