HEADING TO NEW YORK FROM HOUSTON

KPRC meteorologist Eric Braate is the newest member of the New York City media.

Braate is leaving the NBC station in Houston and will join WNBC, the NBC station in New York.

He started in Houston in 2006. He left briefly to go to Detroit and then he came back.

WNBC just hired a reporter from Cleveland for the morning show. It’s not clear which shift Braate will fill.
