A MOVE TO THE MORNING SHIFT

It’s the meteorologist shuffle at KVUE in Austin.

We told you late last year that morning meteorologist Mariel Ruiz was going to WFAA, KVUE’s sister station in Dallas.

That left a hole in the morning.

The station is going to promote weekend anchor Hunter Williams to the morning sport permanently.

But before he goes to mornings, he’s going to fill in on the evenings for chief meteorologist Erica Lopez who is on maternity leave through March.
