IN VEGAS, A REPORTER AND ANCHOR SURVIVE NEAR DEADLY CRASHES
This is bizarre and scary.
In less than 24 hours, KSNV morning meteorologist Chloe Koast and Fox5Vegas reporter Kristen DeSilva were hit by reckless drivers and almost died.
Early Saturday morning, Koast and her husband were driving on highway I-15 when a wrong way driver was headed straight for them. She says luckily her husband was able to swerve and they survived. If he hadn’t, she says she wouldn’t have. As it happened, police were chasing the person going the wrong way on the highway. The driver eventually crashed but it’s unclear it anyone was hurt.
Then, later that day on Saturday evening DeSilva was driving in Downtown Las Vegas with some friends when a driver hit her and took off. She says she suffered minor injuries as did her passengers.
Reckless driving in Sin City has been on the rise. And apparently so have wrong way drivers.
We’re just happy both of them are OK.
