VETERAN MN REPORTER HINTS AT ‘NEW CHAPTER’ WHEN SHE LEAVES NEXT MONTH
Kate Raddatz is cashing in as a reporter at WCCO in Minneapolis. She posted to Facebook that she will leave the station in July after a decade.
While she didn’t specify precisely what’s next, Raddatz appears to be headed into the public relations world.
“It’s time for a new chapter,” Raddatz wrote.
While she indicated it was a dream working for WCCO, “dreams can also change.”
“My media friends will still hear from me in my new role,” she added.
Raddatz said there will be more to share soon.
“I’m so excited to grow in my career and to also be a more present parent in this season of life,” Raddatz posted.
Her previous TV experience was at WBAY in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Raddatz was also a print journalist for the St. Paul Pioneer Press and The Minnesota Daily.
“I have endless gratitude for the people here and the people who have let me share their stories,” she said.
