LAS VEGAS ANCHOR EXITS WITH ‘DREAM TO START OWN BUSINESS’
Anchor Todd Quinones has left the building at KTNV in Las Vegas. The evening anchor’s final broadcast was on June 24. He spent more than six years at KTNV.
When Quinones posted his announcement earlier this month he said leaving was with “mixed emotions.”
But after 28 years in the TV news business with various schedules, Quinones decided “it’s time for something new and to see what family life is like while working normal hours.”
Quinones said management supported the process during the past few months.
“For those of you who are interested I will share more details about what is next for me in later posts, but it has always been a dream of mine to start my own business. I’m happy to say my work will keep me here in the valley,” he wrote.
Quinones was previously a reporter at KYW in Philadelphia, KERO in Bakersville, California and a reporter/anchor for Blue Ridge Cable in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
It’s been a great ride, and I can’t wait for what’s next! It’s with mixed emotions I’m letting you know June 24th will be my last day on air @KTNV. I’m so grateful for my career in the TV news business, but it’s time for something new. More details on my KTNV Facebook page. pic.twitter.com/mYv7EWCdr4
