LONGTIME ARIZONA TV NEWSER TAKES THE EXIT INTO REAL ESTATE

No, she won’t be flogging open houses, but Destry Jetton, late of Tegna (s-t-b Standard Media) station KPNX in Phoenix, AZ is now in the real estate business.

She’s the new vice-president of communications for 72Sold, an Arizona real estate firm.

Jetton, an Arizona native, had a career in tv news stretching back to 1996 at KQTV in St. Joseph, MO.

After a stop in Temple, TX, she got back to Arizona by way of Tucson in 2001.

She arrived at KPNX in 2006 as the host and executive producer of “Arizona Midday” where she stayed until her exit from the business into the wild, wonderful world of real estate.

We’re told she will continue to work as a “contributor” *wink wink* for “Arizona Midday.”

We’ll wait and see.
