Fallon Appleton has left the news business.

The KBTX/Bryan-College Station, Texas weekend anchor and morning reporter has joined Lucchese Bootmaker as their Senior Associate of Marketing & Communications.

“I’m so excited to be working with this outstanding brand,” she wrote on Instagram.

She’ll be based in Dallas.

She joined KBTX in 2019 after graduating Texas A&M University two years earlier.

While in college, Appleton spent three years as a intern and spotter for CBS Sports.

After spending a year as a morning reporter, Appleton was named KBTX weekend anchor in Sept. 2020, according to her LinkedIn page.
