THE ALBANY EXODUS IS PRETTY AMAZING

The revolving door keeps spinning the New York capital city

By our count, when meteorologist Tim Drawbridge signs off from Nexstar’s WTEN in Albany, NY, it will just about two dozen exits from the market’s tv stations this year.

Drawbridge is still working at WTEN and will be until the end of his contract, but he is already working part-time at his new job as communications director for the city of Glen Falls, NY.

He started the new job on Tuesday.

He’s walking away from a career that started back in 1993 in Burlington, VT.

He’s been with WTEN for the past 9 ½ years, while also freelancing as a sports play-by-play announcer and dabbling in public relations.
