FORMER CONNECTICUT STATE TROOPER SIGNS ON TO TV NEWS

Kelly Grant spent 26 years in law enforcement, 20 of them as a Connecticut state trooper before she left last year in search of something new.

She’s apparently found it policing the assignment desk at Tegna’s WTIC in Hartford-New Haven, CT.

During her two decades with the state police, Grant served nearly nine years as spokesperson for the agency.

And yes, we wouldn’t rule out her showing up on the air someday – sooner, rather than later.
