LONGTIME LOCAL REPORTER LEAVES NEWS, JOINS NEWSMAX
Reporter and fill-in anchor Bob Brooks is leaving Disney’s WPVI in Philadelphia, PA and signing on with FOX “News” wanna-be Newsmax.
After seven years in the City of Brotherly Love, Brooks will be a national correspondent and occupy an anchor chair on occasion.
Brooks is a 13-year tv news veteran, starting out at WETM in Elmira, NY, then he went on to NBC’s WTVJ in Miami before landing in Philadelphia.
Brooks gushed, “I am glad to go national on a network like Newsmax, with a growing news brand and a team of talented professionals who care about news and the public’s right to know.”
Sure.
