HERE’S MORE OF THAT BITTERSWEET NEWS TO SHARE

Morning anchor and “lifestyle host” Ashley Korslien shared the always-bittersweet news of her departure from Tegna’s KGW in Portland, OR.

She’ll stick around until the end of the month, but then it’s off to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department to be its communications manager.

Her new boss is excited.

Clark County Sheriff John Horch said, “I am excited to have such a highly qualified professional in Ashley join the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Team. Her passion and talent will only help our agency make better connections with the community.”

Parenthetically, does anybody know what “bittersweet” tastes like?
