John Rupolo, who has over 2 decades of experience and has won awards for general assignment and investigative reporting, is joining KOAT, Hearst’s ABC affiliate in Albuquerque starting in January.

Rupolo is known for traditional accountability reporting and not taking “no comment” as an answer in relentless pursuit of truth.

“Hearst is the last great bastion in television news and I’m so excited to go back to a company that provides outstanding resources, a winning newsroom, and experienced journalists and managers motivated to win,” Rupolo said.
