Matt Finkel Promoted to Weekday Sports Anchor/Reporter at CBS Detroit

Matt Finkel has been promoted to Sports Anchor/Reporter, Monday through Friday at WWJ, the CBS-owned station in Detroit.

Finkel, who joined the station in a freelance capacity in late 2025, came to Motown from WVIT, the NBC-owned station in Hartford where he worked in the same role.

Finkel is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Matt Finkel is represented by Mort Meisner Associates.
