Mitch Carr Joins WDBJ Roanoke as Weekday Anchor

Upon the retirement of anchor Jean Jadhon, Mitch Carr is joining WDBJ, Gray’s CBS affiliate in Roanoke, Virginia, to anchor the 6, 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts alongside Kate Capodanno.

Carr is a Richmond native and has worked in several markets throughout his career, most recently in Phoenix and Chicago.

Carr begins at WDBJ Monday, June 16.

The station says Carr’s addition will shift several anchors to other newscasts.
