Jeff Glor anchored the “CBS Evening News” from Los Angeles last night and tonight he will hold forth from San Francisco.

In between, he is keynoting the PromaxBDA Station Summit in Las Vegas, tag-teaming with his fellow anchors ABC NewsDavid Muir and NBC News’ Lester Holt.

The West Coast swing is a chance for Glor to try and revive his program’s flagging ratings and prove his own value as a working journalist.

During tonight’s San Francisco remote, Glor will feature a piece produced with a focus group of California voters holding forth about a wide range of California issues.

These topics will include the current polarized political climate and the panel’s views on how the Trump administration is doing on a variety of topics, including immigration, the economy and so forth.

Both of which are really national issues that could be produced in all 50 states.

We hope somewhere in there, he has time to talk about the moved to split California up into several smaller states.

Now that’s a state issue.
