After 6 ½ years at the helm of Fox-owned dupoly WOFL/WRBW in Orlando, FL and WOGX in Gainesville, Allyson Meyers cleared out her desk last week and apparently left the business for unspecified “family reasons.”

“With the beginning of a new fiscal year, it is with mixed emotion and reflection, I have decided the time is optimal to resign my position as your VP and General Manager. I regret that a family situation requires me to make this difficult decision,” she wrote.
[….]“While I will be moving back home to South Florida shortly, I leave knowing that my successor, to be named, couldn’t ask for a more capable, knowledgeable and committed team to rely upon.

And that was that.
