“We are thrilled to announce the launch of Food Network Kitchen, a first-of-its-kind direct-to-consumer product with exclusive streaming technology offering consumers live, interactive cooking instruction every week with the top culinary experts in the world, grocery and equipment delivery, over 800 on-demand classes and so much more to make the consumer’s cooking, shopping and food experience more convenient, joyful and delicious.
This landmark collaboration between Discovery and Amazon will offer Food Network Kitchen through Amazon Alexa and Echo Show, Fire Tablets, Fire TV streaming media devices and Fire TV Edition smart TVs.”
Set to launch in October, Food Network Kitchen will offer a lineup of 25 weekly live, interactive cooking shows — including some led by celeb chefs Bobby Flay, Rachael Ray, Giada De Laurentiis and Guy Fieri — as well as over 800 on-demand instructional videos, 80,000 recipes, culinary-related original programming and select shows from Food Network’s library.
The service, to be priced starting at $6.99 per month.
