VETERAN LYNCHBURG SPORTSCASTER HANGING IT UP

Dennis Carter has been the face of sports on Sinclair’s WSET in Lynchburg, VA for the past 37 years.

At the end of the year, get ready for a new face.

“I come to work every day loving what I do,” Dennis Carter said. “My family has generously let me live my passion, but now my passion is to spend more time with them. I will be stepping away from the sports desk at the end of this year.”

Carter’s been in broadcasting for more than 40 years, 37 of them at WSET.
