Charlie Henrich Jr. is the newly-named vice president and general manager of Meredith duopoly KCTV/KSMO in Kansas City, Mo.

He’s replacing Chuck Poduska whose retirement is effective on Monday.

Henrich starts the next day.

He’s been VP-GM of WHNS, Meredith’s sister station in Greenville, S.C. for all of 11 months after filling the same job at Sinclair duopoly KMEG-KPTH in Sioux City IA.

The bosses are excited.

“Charlie has more than 20 years of experience in local television management and operations and has done a tremendous job managing WHNS/FOX Carolina,” said Meredith Local Media Group President Patrick McCreery. “We are excited to bring his energy and employee-first leadership to KCTV and KSMO.”
