PHILLY HIRES NEW SPORTS GAL

WFTX Fox 29 Philadelphia, Pa. has found a replacement for Kristen Rodgers.

Breland Moore graduated from Temple University and is very familiar with the city.

She comes from Kansas City, Mo., where she was the KCTV sports anchor.

“No matter where this job led me, I’ve always hoped for a full circle journey to bring me back to Philadelphia. I’m ready to return to the city that raised and educated me so I can cover the very teams and athletes that inspired me to get into this profession in the first place,” said Moore in a statement released by the station.

Moore will report and anchor sports coverage for the 5, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. weekdays. She’ll also work on Sundays. She’ll begin May 24.

She started her career in Allentown, Pa. at Service Electric Cable TV before going to WHEC in Rochester, N.Y., and where she covered the Buffalo Bills.
