HE’S IN MISSISSIPPI TO STAY
The newest meteorologist in Hattiesburg, Miss. Is Ryan Mahan.
Mahan loves Mississippi weather and had always planned to stay in the state long term, so now he’s here to stay.
”Well, I grew up in Arkansas, but I have been in Mississippi for coming up on 22 years now, and I’ve been through all of those major events that have happened down here,” Mahan said.
Before this move, he was in Gulfport since 2014 as an evening met. This new role is mornings and midday.
Here is his post:
I am very proud to announce you will now find me early weekday mornings at WDAM 7 in Hattiesburg, MS! I have some big shoes to fill as I take over the forecasting duties for the Sunrise and Midday shows from Chief Meteorologist @PatrickWDAM as he moves on up to the evenings. pic.twitter.com/yUQDN3sHD2
