TAMPA ANCHOR FALLS DURING HOCKEY OPENER COVERAGE
Florida anchor/reporter Melanie Michael is off the air and not doing too well.
She posted on social media that she got hurt on the job covering the Bolts opener for WFLA, the Nexstar station in Tampa.
Michael fell to the pavement while reporting and is now recovering from severe brain and spinal injuries.
In two photos she posted, you can see she’s in a neck brace.
This is difficult to share, but it’s time. For the past 44 days, I’ve been recovering from a severe brain injury & spinal injuries. I hit my head on the pavement while covering #Bolts home opener. Recovering slowly, miss my @WFLA fam, friends & my team. See you soon💙 #grateful pic.twitter.com/6d2yEmEOFO
