SPORTS ANCHOR TAKES A PUCK TO THE FACE
A former Panama City sports anchor is OK after getting a puck to the face during an interview on the ice rink.
Joel Sebastianelli, who used to work at WJHG, is now in Toledo. He was doing an interview with a high school hockey player when a puck came across the ice and made a direct hit with the camera.
Sebastianelli continued with the interview. The player he was interviewing stopped to react but that was it.
The station says he’s OK. The reporter had a bump on his head and a small headache.
We’re not sure what the tone of the story was supposed to be but it definitely wasn’t funny.
