FORMER REPORTER TAKES ON NEW PROFESSIONAL CHALLENGE
A journalist has found a different career path.
Tracy Clemons, the former reporter at WGHP/Fox 8 in High Point, NC, has exited the industry to become Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Texas Southern University, the school announced.
Clemons also spent time as a reporter/anchor at KTRK in Houston, was a multi-media journalist at KSDK in St. Louis and had reporter/anchor experience at KSLA in Shreveport.
“While it’s bittersweet to leave the anchor desk and the industry I love so much, it is with great excitement that I transition into a role where my storytelling is focused solely on Texas Southern,” Clemons said in a statement.
