ANOTHER NON-RENEWED CONTRACT, ANOTHER EXIT FROM TV NEWS

For the past six years, Youngstown, OH television viewers have had anchor Chelsea Spears on the morning news desk to help them start their day.

No more.

Spears exited Nexstar’s WKBN Monday.

“My time at WKBN has come to a close,” she wrote on her LinkedIn page. “This, friends, is my last day as a TV news anchor. Thank you for trusting me, thank you for waking up with me, thank you for watching. It has been an absolute honor.”

Her Facebook farewell paid tribute to her now-former co-workers.
