Local TV creative services and marketing executives around the country have been posting examples of their work on LinkedIn for years.
LinkedIn has become the social media platform of choice for local TV stations and those that work there.
If you have examples of new TV news promos you want to share on News Blues, let me know.

Gayle Ong, a meteorologist from KRON, Nexstar’s CW affiliate in San Francisco, posted this weather promo on social media saying, “The KRON 4 Weather Team has you covered. Big shoutout to our awesome promo team for putting this together!”

Jennifer Hancox, creative services director at WNBC, the NBC-owned station in New York, posted this spot that premiered in the Super Bowl saying she’s “excited about our new NBC New York/ Telemundo 47 weather image campaign. Lots of time, energy, and fun!”
Jason Dunning, a meteorologist at WBBH, Hearst’s NBC affiliate in Fort Myers, branded Gulf Coast NBC, posted this weather promo.
“Really proud of the amazing work our Creative Services team at Gulf Coast WBBH-WZVN put into this weather promo. I wish I could go back and show my 10-year-old self—the kid recording “neighborhood news” on his mom’s camcorder—that one day those weather segments would find their way on TV. I’m grateful that I get to wake up every morning and do what I love, and it’s moments like these that remind me to slow down and enjoy the journey.”

Andrew Dockery, a meteorologist at WMBF, Gray’s NBCX affiliate in Myrtle Beach, praised this weather promo by saying, “We’re officially certified most accurate for SEVEN years in a row here! So happy to celebrate this wonderful accomplishment with the WMBF First Alert Weather Team. Thanks to Hunter Boenau for another amazing promo. Culley McGuire and his marketing team continue to shine.”
