KSAZ’s TV Investigative Special Examines Evidence and Missteps in ‘The Search for Nancy Guthrie’

NOTE: In a recent post here on News Blues, Local TV News Promos from Hearst, Scripps, Graham, Nexstar, Fox, Gray and Cox Stations, one of the promos featured from KSAZ, Fox 10 in Phoenix, was for the station’s special, “Gone in the Night: The Search for Nancy Guthrie”.
Today, we’re sharing not only the promo, but the entire investigative special.

Justin Lum, an investigative reporter at KSAZ, Fox 10 in Phoenix, posted this spot promoting a special report airing on April 1st, “Gone in the Night: The Search for Nancy Guthrie”.
“Our team has been working around the clock on this project the last month as we all hope for answers,” he wrote.

Ryan O’Connell, a promotions producer at the station, created this spot.
“I really enjoyed the process of putting this promo together,” he wrote.
“The clock is ticking. Answers are needed. Where is Nancy Guthrie?”
That’s the question everyone is asking, Where is Nancy Guthrie?
“Gone in the Night: The Search for Nancy Guthrie”, aired two months after the high-profile disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie.
From the chilling moments captured on a doorbell camera to the technical forensic snags stalling the FBI’s progress, the special examines the evidence and alleged missteps that have defined this mystery in the Catalina Foothills north of Tucson.
