Justina Coronel, a reporter/MMJ at KSDK, Nexstar’s NBC affiliate in St. Louis, posted on social media that she making a move from St. Louis to St. Pete ☀️
I’m so excited to share that we’re moving back to the Sunshine State!
I’ll be joining Bay News 9 as a multimedia journalist starting April 27, reporting on the greater Tampa Bay area.
A new job, a new city, and a new baby on the way. I’m nervous and thrilled!
One thing I didn’t expect during this process was navigating job applications while finding out I was pregnant midway through.
I was scared at times, but I’m so grateful for the all employers, especially my current one, who didn’t hesitate and instead offered nothing but support.
It was my biggest priority because as I continue my reporting career, I’m adding a new title to the mix: Mom.
We never really pictured moving back to Florida, but once we found out our baby boy was on the way, being closer to most of our family and friends was everything. Now, my mom is less than four hours away, and my in-laws are just a short drive away. It made this big decision feel like the right one for our little family.

To my husband Keegan Rhines: Thank you for being my rock through it all. From the ups and downs of the first trimester, to out-of-state job interviews, and this big move, you’ve been my constant and my biggest supporter.
Thank you KSDK News & STL for giving me so much. We are eager for what’s ahead – I’m ready to give it my all!
