The revolving door has been swinging heavily in recent weeks at Fox-owned KDFW in Dallas.
Jennifer Myers, weekend meteorologist, is the latest to pack it in and leave the business.
After just under six years, she’s leaving to become the weathercaster for North Texas-based ONCOR Electric, according to Uncle Barky.
She’s not sticking around for the end of the book. Sunday is her last day.
She has had her clashes with station management, over its mandate that she wear a straight-haired wig on the air to cover up her naturally curly hair.
Just last March, the other weekend Jenny, anchor Jenny Anchondo, who had partnered with Myers on the weekend edition of “Good Day,” left to join the syndicated “Morning Dose” which is produced in Dallas.
And, as we reported to you yesterday, 19-year veteran reporter Saul Garza made it pretty clear he’ll be happy to see the station in his rear-view mirror.
“I. AM. DONE. My contract ends May 31. For now that is my last day but hoping they cut me loose sooner. So, so excited to be done with news.”
Sounds like a real happy shop.
