NASHVILLE SPORTS REPORTER LEAVING BUSINESS – FOR NOW

For the past five years, Joe Leadingham has been doing sports anchoring and reporting for Nexstar’s WKRN in Nashville.

And he’s leaving it behind to become a medical device salesman.

“But wait,” as they say on those endless infomercials that populate local television at all hours, “there’s more!”

He hopes to somehow turn his new position, as well as a podcast he intends to continue doing, into an eventual sports talk radio gig.

Which is akin to moving from a position as a university lecturer to someone moderating “last-call” bar arguments at 1 AM.

Have you listened to sports talk recently?

Leadingham says he developed a passion for sport talk radio after serving as a guest host from time-to-time on two Nashville sports talk stations.

Eh….it’s your career.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
