PAPA MOVES TO THE NINERS

If you don’t get along with the boss, you get replaced.

If you’re lucky, you kind of land on your feet in the same market and don’t have to move.

So it is with Greg Papa, whose long, rather rocky relationship with the Oakland Raiders oddball owner Mark Davis resulted in his firing as the Oakland Raiders radio voice.

His replacement is the long-in-the-tooth, but familiar, Brent Musburger.

And Papa is taking his talents to NBC Sports Bay Area, where he will host the pre- and post-game programs for the San Francisco 49ers.

Which ought to really go over well with Raiders fans.
