Conservative commentator Dan Bongino will reportedly no longer be with the National Rifle Association’s media affiliate, NRATV, after the network opted not to renew his show.
The Daily Beast reported Monday that NRATV declined to renew Bongino’s show “We Stand” for next year, citing two sources with knowledge of the decision.
The former Secret Service agent has hosted the show for less than a year.
Bongino removed “NRATV host” from his Twitter bio over the weekend, and tweeted that he would address his future plans on his podcast Tuesday.
He did not appear to dispute that he is no longer with NRATV, but challenged the Beast’s story.
Bongino said on Twitter Monday that he “declined a generous renewal offer.”
NRATV, a digital-only streaming network, has laid off a number of people in recent months amid reports that the NRA saw revenue decline by more than $50 million in 2017.
