The series will air on “WNT” and on a special edition of “Nightline” on Thursday.
Muir will anchor “World News Tonight” from Normandy, France on tonight and Thursday.
Lester Holt will anchor “NBC Nightly News” also from Normandy tonight and tomorrow.
NBC News’ special coverage is called “D-Day at 75: A Celebration of Heroes.”
“CBS This Morning” co-host Anthony Mason will lead CBS News’ coverage of D-Day from Normandy.
Mason will be anchoring “CTM” and “CBS Evening News” today and tomorrow.
Mason will also lead a “CBS News Special Report” alongside National World War II Museum historian Rob Citino tomorrow from 5 – 6:30 a.m. ET for coverage surrounding the commemoration of the D-Day program and President Trump’s live address from Normandy.
