Brandin Stewart is the new GM at CBS-owned KYW in Philadelphia, replacing Brien Kennedy who took a quick exit from the station last month..

And hey, what better qualification?
“My parents are from West Philly and I have fond memories of visiting the Delaware Valley to see my grandparents,”
Stewart said in a release. “I can’t wait to get back and reconnect with the people and places that make Philly so great.”

He was poached away.

Stewart had been a mainstay in the NBC o&o system for the past 17 years or so.

Most recently, he was the vice president of sales at WMAQ in Chicago for the past five years..
