REBUILDING JOB AHEAD

She was the “dean” of Seattle area new directors when she exited Nexstar’s KCPQ-KZJO and KRCW in Portland, Ore. back in September after six years in the big chair.

Erica Hill-Rodriguez now turns her attention to KTTV-KCOP, the Fox duopoly in Los Angeles, CA as the station’s new number one.

She is honored. Truly.

“I am truly honored to join the FOX 11 news team in delivering important journalism and relevant content to the audiences of the greater Los Angeles area. I look forward to helping lead a team that aims to make a difference in the lives of our local audience,” said Hill-Rodriquez.

When she announced she was leaving several months back, she said she was relocating to the Los Angeles area for family reasons.

She came to Seattle from WBBM in Chicago.

Hill-Rodriguez started as an assignment editor at KCPQ and steadily moved up the ladder.

She starts her new job December 9.
