We understand the role of anchor vs. producer.
Almost like parts of an atom, they work together in-sync, but sometimes a proton drops out of orbit and crashes into an electron.
The Producer writes it, the anchor reads it. Simple enough eh? Not all the time.
Such was the case at KFOR (NBC) in Oklahoma City Monday.
Listen to how the anchor pronounces “delicatessen.”
All the more reason to READ your scripts before air in case there are any newfangled words you’ve never encountered before.
