TVNewsCheck reports Nexstar launched a daily coronavirus stream this week that goes to all of it’s station websites and is also available on social media as a public service.

Austin Kellerman, Nexstar’s director of digital content says there are daily contributions from WFLA, Nexstar’s NBC affiliate in Tampa; KTVI , Nexstar’s Fox affiliate in St. Louis; and Nexstar’s Washington, D.C. bureau.

“We launched the daily stream earlier this week as an additional resource for people to get the latest headlines on the virus from trusted, local news sources,” said Kellerman.

“With all the misinformation out there, this is a way to get trusted information out to the public.”

Kellerman said the streams are available to Nexstar’s 115-plus TV stations and also made available on Facebook and other social channels.
