LONGTIME VA ANCHOR TURNS TO PUBLIC RELATIONS
For more than two decades, Bob Grebe has been versatile anchor. The last seven years have seen Grebe at the WHSV anchor desk on the station’s Daybreak and Noon broadcasts in Harrisonburg, VA.
However, he is making a career change. He is starting in a communications and public relations role at Sentara RMH.
“I want to thank all of you for supporting me through the various phases of my journalism career. I am so appreciative of all the great folks I have met along the way,” Grebe said on Facebook.
Prior to joining WHSV, Grebe was morning anchor at WFXR.
Grebe also has experience as a sports anchor at WVVA in Bluefield, West Virginia.
Part of his decision to exit television news were those early morning hours.
“Moving to a ‘normal’ work schedule after 15 years of getting up around 2am has been a great blessing,” Grebe wrote.
