Ever since Dallas KTVT (CBS) let Reporter/Anchor Jane Slater slip away back in 2014, she’s done nothing but rocket skyward, first going to the ESPN-owned Longhorn Network, then in 2016 joining the NFL Network

Wednesday she took to social media with the following:

“Beyond excited to announce that I’ll be joining CBS Sports this season as an NFL sideline reporter, in addition to my work on NFL Network this season.

The two-game package includes
Week 1 – 09/09/18 – Cincinnati @ Indianapolis
Week 3 – 09/23/18 – Denver @ Baltimore

Special thank you to my boss Mark Quenzel and the NFL Network for allowing me to check yet another item off my professional bucket list as well as my agent Jim Ornstein at WME/IMG for pushing for me and believing in me.

I feel so grateful to do what I love for a living. Most importantly thank you to those of you keep watching and supporting me. It always means so much to get stopped in random places and know that you all appreciate what I do for a living and that it resonates with you. Those little moments mean a lot.”

She majored in both Journalism and Government at the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated in 2004.
