You may recall long time WFAA (ABC) anchor Shelly Slater.

She stepped away from the anchor’s desk back in September of 2016 and transitioned to a smaller schedule, eventually leaving the Dallas station after 10 years to accommodate a growing family.

“I’m making this decision for three reasons,” Slater said. “[My sons] Hutcheson, Hawkins, and Halston.”

Fast forward to 2018 and Slater posted on Facebook this week a tour of what she calls her new “coworking spot” in the  Dallas Design District.

In case you were afraid to ask and yes, I had to look it up, a coworking space is basically a shared work space.

They offer affordable office space for those looking to escape the isolation of a home office or coffee shop and are quite popular these days.
