TEGNA TEXAS TAPS TWO FOR GM POSTS
Tegna has named new GMs at two of the company’s Texas stations.
Tim Thomas becomes president-GM of KWES in Midland-Odessa.
In Beaumont, Paul Bergen replaces Bruce Cummings as gm as KBMT/KJAC.
Thomas comes to KWES from WXIA, the Tegna station in Atlanta, Ga. where he was station operations manager.
He starts February 11.
Bergen joined KBMT in 2008 as news director.
Previously, Bergen held news leadership positions in Texas, Louisiana and Montana.
