AN ANCHOR RESURFACES
Back in April, on the eve of May sweeps, Scripps’ KSHB in Kansas City, MO, bid a hasty farewell to the married anchor team of Mike Marusarz and Rhiannon Ally, in an unexpected housecleaning.
While Ally continues to flog her book “Mommy Please, Don’t Go To Work” that was published last year, Murusarz is preparing a resurfacing.
In the process, he’s going back to the name he used when he anchored in Miami prior to his Kansas City stint.
Mike Marza, we are told, is going to the Big Apple and WABC as a fill-in anchor and reporter.
The well-traveled tv news vet at one time worked as a New York-based free-lance reporter for ABC News and at News 12 Long Island, so he knows the territory.
