It’s a significant career leap for Marcus Espinoza, who starts January 6 as a reporter for Fox-owned WFTX in the City of Brotherly Love.

He’s coming from Sinclair’s KHQA in Quincy, IL where he’s been a weekend anchor-reporter for the past two years.

“Marcus is a passionate storyteller who sincerely cares about the community. We are confident that our viewers will instantly connect with him,” said vice president and news director Jim Driscoll, his soon-to-be boss.

Yes, it already feeling like home to Espinoza, who also previously worked in Dayton, OH.

“The ‘We Go There’ philosophy attracted me to Fox 29 from the start. I’m ready to work for Philadelphia and our viewers and make an impact on a city that has already welcomed me with open arms. This place feels like home and I look forward to making it mine for many years,” Espinoza said.
